As OneZero Solutions’ Senior Vice President of Commercial Practice, Shawn leads the company’s expansion into private-sector markets, uniting strategy, sales, marketing, and service delivery to help clients turn cyber risk into operational resilience and measurable business outcomes. He partners with boards, executives, and operating teams across M&A, maritime, healthcare, legal, finance, and energy to align cyber programs with revenue protection, valuation, and trust.
A retired U.S. Coast Guard officer with over 25 years of leadership in national security, crisis management, and cybersecurity, Shawn has commanded ashore and afloat units, served as a Congressional Fellow in the U.S. Senate, and scaled cybersecurity firms to rapid growth. He is a recognized thought leader and speaker on resilience, executive leadership, and board-level cyber risk, frequently invited to advise global executives and elite industry forums.
Shawn is known for pioneering productized approaches to cybersecurity, including OneZero Cyber 360 and DealShield 360, and for developing OneZero’s Resilience Framework, a first-of-its-kind model designed to help organizations anticipate, withstand, and adapt to disruption. His frameworks and partnership models have positioned OneZero as a category leader, competing head-to-head with the largest firms in the industry, while still delivering with agility and client-centered focus.
Shawn earned a B.S. from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA. He also serves as Executive Director of the Maritime Transportation System ISAC, advancing global maritime cyber threat intelligence. He lives in Miami, FL, enjoys spending time with his family, authoring books on leadership and resilience, and supporting his son on the lacrosse field.
